Why Mental Health is Important?

We are so affected if we see a pimple on our face, an extra pound or the chubby cheeks growing. We are so concerned about our physical health. We go to gym, we are taught physical education in schools and we are bound to play an outdoor game. But, what about mental health? What about its education? What about having a gym like arena to go and fix our problems regarding mental health?

Mental health is important too. It's normal to seek help when needed. It's okay not to be able to keep up with all the bad things going on. It's okay, it really is. But just know that there's a way to cope and cure, help and heal. In today's time even though terms like mental health, depression, anxiety, panic attacks are common yet people don't know if they are suffering from any of those and for this we need to be educated and have proper knowledge.

And not just that but know that it's not a dark hole, it has a way out and for starters it can be THERAPY. Therapy is normal, it's like you will get a person to speak without having any filter or without any second thoughts and without the fear of getting judged. It can be the gym trainer you need to advice you while working out. So if you think you need help, seek them.

Your mental health is in your hands don't give someone else the access to it. Leave the situation if it affects your mental health. You are not selfish if you prioritize yourself. You are supposed to be doing exactly what you feel is right and not what others tell you so. The external validations, judgements, snarky comments should not be a resistance in your path. You are always above all those things that try to pull you down. All you need is to believe in yourself and fight FOR yourself not WITH yourself.

You're born with the ability to feel, let yourself feel and heal. There's no good in running away from problems, face them. There's no good in pushing your feelings, let them sink in. There's no good in avoiding and procrastinating things because what goes around comes back around.

You will only be able to have peace with your demons inside your head by facing them.

Because sometimes it is us who sabotage our mental peace by letting the voice inside our head overpower the voice that we have and the irony of the situation is that THE PROBLEM CREATOR IS THE PROBLEM SOLVER.
